Five international projects focused on sustainability, circular economy and energy transformation have successfully completed their passage through BQUO, Dominion's acceleration program.
Bilbao, April 9, 2025 - Dominion has successfully closed the second edition of BQUO, its acceleration program for startups and entrepreneurial talent. For six months, entrepreneurs from Peru, Mexico and the United States have lived an immersive experience at Dominion's headquarters in Bilbao, developing technological solutions aligned with major global challenges: waste management, emissions reduction, energy efficiency and the sustainable transformation of industry.
BQUO is consolidated as one of Dominion's main bets for open innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, offering participants personalized executive training, high-level mentoring and all the necessary resources to take their projects to the next level. All of this, at no cost to entrepreneurs.
“Supporting talent and people is fundamental to building a more sustainable future. BQUO reflects this philosophy and is a key lever of transformation for Dominion,” said Mikel Barandiaran, CEO of the company.
Innovative projects with a focus on sustainability
In this edition, five initiatives with great international projection have been presented:

-
Gama Construction (Mexico): Sustainable panels for construction using plastic and textile waste, with a circular economy model.
-
Zerogas (Peru): Optimization of Dominion's degassing process through heat recovery and real-time measurement of emissions.
-
MaxREFRACT (Peru): Reuse of industrial refractory waste, validated in a steel mill in the Basque Country.

These projects have been directly accompanied by professionals from Dominion's management team, providing strategic vision, technical knowledge and personalized support in the development of each initiative.
