We accompany Enel in its technical and commercial operations for electricity distribution in Colombia

We have been selected by Enel for the comprehensive operation of its technical and commercial services in the Cundimarca region, Colombia, in an initial period of three years.

The company, with which we already work in Chile and Peru, is once again betting on DOMINION's know-how in a project that includes a wide variety of services throughout the entire electricity distribution chain: from the deployment and maintenance of networks , to the resolution of incidents and customer service.

Specifically, within the Technical Operation Services, we will carry out the civil and electrical works for the construction, modification or remodeling of the aerial and underground networks. Also its corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance thanks to the application of technology that allows us to guarantee the maximum availability of a network of more than 11,000km, 8000 transformers and 17 substations.

In the area of ​​Commercial Operation Services, we will carry out all the service connection, suspension, cut-off and reconnection operations, as well as the technical management of the infrastructure of Enel's clients.

Efficiency for an agile service with quality guarantee

The DOMINION team will be in charge of giving immediate attention to emergencies and incidents in an area of ​​3,528 km².

Much of the network infrastructure is in rural and mountainous areas with multiple access and communication difficulties. In addition, the region is one of the areas of Colombia with the highest activity of electrical storms, which implies a high number of incidents, especially in transformers.

To face this challenge, DOMINION has more than 250 operators, 100 vehicles and 5 strategically distributed bases that will allow it to coordinate and attend to more than 15,000 emergencies per year. All this thanks to our methodology and industry experience that has allowed us to develop all this infrastructure in a record time of less than 90 days.
