Patricia Berjón highlights organic growth, simplification strategy and sustainability opportunities as key to Dominion's progress in 2025.

Dominion's Director of Corporate Development, Patricia Berjón, has shared in an interview with Estrategias de Inversión her vision of the company's evolution during the first half of 2025, marked by a challenging and changing global environment.

Despite market volatility and factors such as the devaluation of the dollar, Dominion has achieved 10% growth in revenue and comparable EBITDA, doubling the strategic target set.

This performance highlights the strength of the business model, based on geographic and sector diversification and a clear focus on activities with high demand and added value: energy, digitalization, telecommunications, and environmental sustainability.

Strategic focus: simplification, divestments and long-term vision

One of the key drivers of this growth has been the strategy to simplify the business. The reorganisation into two areas (GDE and GDT) has enabled us to focus our efforts on more profitable lines, supported by strategic divestments, such as the recent operation in the Dominican Republic.

This operation, which involved the sale of 80% of the renewable assets in the country, improved the company's financial position and was positively valued by the market, with an increase of more than 10% in the share price.

On course to meet the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan with results in line with (and even exceeding) the targets set out in its Strategic Plan (5% growth in turnover, 7% in EBITDA and 9% in cash flow), Dominion is moving steadily towards meeting its roadmap. Berjón also stressed that the company does not rule out new acquisitions or strategic alliances that will add value in the long term, especially in the environmental field.
