The challenge

MINISO Spain, a retail chain with more than 64 points of sale in Spain, Portugal and Andorra, faced the challenge of managing an intensive logistics operation with a catalogue of more than 15,000 items of different sizes and sectors, including food.

Ninety-eight per cent of its products arrive in containers, and the merchandise must be available in stores every morning thanks to overnight distribution. This demanding operation required a highly efficient, flexible logistics solution with full traceability in order to respond to peaks in demand without sacrificing time or quality.

At DOMINION, we took on the comprehensive management of the project, from obtaining the public contract to technical, logistical and installation coordination together with our partners.

The project included two main spaces within the new Murcia Audiovisual Hub:

A photography and digital production studio, equipped with a 12x4 metre DBmk2 curved LED screen, side panels and an LED ceiling with AR Series technology, which allows for the creation of immersive visual environments without altering the original structure of the building.

A gaming arena, equipped with a large 18x4 metre DB Series LED screen, designed for e-sport events and community activities, with improved resistance to intensive use and public interaction.

The execution of the project posed a significant technical challenge: custom structures were designed to avoid direct contact with the historic walls, hundreds of international components and materials were managed, and the deadlines set by European funding were strictly met.

Results

The Murcia Audiovisual Hub is now a benchmark centre for creators, artists, students and gamers, who have free access to first-class audiovisual facilities.
The project has succeeded in positioning Murcia as a pioneer in digital innovation and technological creativity, while preserving and breathing new life into an iconic space in its urban heritage.

This success demonstrates DOMINION's ability to lead end-to-end technological projects, combining innovation, heritage and local development in a sustainable and collaborative manner.
