Companies are now more aware than ever of their corporate responsibility to society and of the environment in which they operate. Consumers, customers and markets are penalising and rewarding companies based on how committed they are to the environment and to individuals.
At DOMINION we consider sustainability as long-term efficiency. Right from the outset, Dominion has aimed to help its customers to be more efficient and now that sustainability is a key factor in this efficiency, we are also helping its customers to be more sustainable.
Our response to the challenges posed by climate change is particularly active at a business level and is clearly focused on integrating sustainability into our range of services and solutions, ensuring that it becomes an increasingly larger part of the added value provided to our customers. This is the reason why sustainable activities make up a large part of our business.
With an increasingly wider range of services to create sustainable processes, including services relating to O&M Renewables, Network Deployment, Environmental Services (reduction of emissions and circular economy) and Predictive and Preventive O&M.
With 360 degree projects in sectors which contribute to the world becoming more efficient, more social and more responsible, with particular mention of: Renewable energies, Energy efficiency, Access to electricity grids, Hospital technology and Adaptation to climate change.

Our proposal brings sustainability to the homes of consumers, who are increasingly more environmentally aware and demanding. It is centred on our Smart House proposal (digitalization, energy efficiency) and the recycling of mobile phones and other devices.
Our aim is to continue to grow our sustainability-related activities, particularly in areas related to renewable energy and circular economy, as set out in DOMINION's Strategic Plan. Here are just a few examples of the different initiatives currently underway in these areas:
- With our extensive range of environmental services, specifically within the framework of industrial services, where DOMINION is focused on providing a 360º offer to customers to manage or maintain all "non-core" processes at their facilities.
- Developing, constructing, operating and maintaining renewable energy farms, wind power and photovoltaic alike, as well as biomass plants.
- Based on the presence of DOMINION in the marketing of mobile devices, promoting the refurbishment of used phones for resale on the market, thereby avoiding the purchase of new handsets.
What is more, DOMINION's strategy goes even further, seeking to get our business units to constantly reflect on how their services and solutions can help their customers to become more sustainable and, therefore, more efficient.
